Body Aware Spring 1995 catalogue

Post by mbit415 »

Body Aware just shared a scan of their 1995 catalog. There are some great styles!

https://bodyaware.com/pages/body-aware- ... -catalogue

One of my favorite is their silk satin thong, I have in red that is really worn out now, similar to the silk satin tanga on page 5. I’ve been waiting for them to rerelease that! I have a few similar women’s panties off of Amazon but it is not the same.

Were thongs and briefs more popular in the 90s?

I thought that was pretty cool they did that. Definitely some styles that I would have liked to try. Probably some that still would some good sellers today!! Hope they scan some catalogs, maybe bring back some styles . Mirror briefs and the swim brief would be amazing.

Yes and no, I suspect! I kind of came of age in the 90s, so that was high school, college, and some grad school for me — I only ever wore bikini briefs. Got my first thong (pretty much by accident LOL) in the late 90s, in grad school. Never had any shared living experiences since college, so I don’t know but as I’ve posted elsewhere on this board, I had. Number of roommates and friends who wore bikini briefs.

You can also go to the Internet Archive Wayback Machine and see pages from many catalogs and years for lots of suppliers!
I put in the Body Aware URL as an example,
https://web.archive.org/web/20250905155 ... aware.com/

It also works for Koalaswim etc. Give it a few minutes to load all the photos.

Got my first Koalaswim catalog in the mail in the 90s. Have had a few pieces over the years.

Many bold designs; a tradition that continues to this day.
