I didn't at first. Then I decided I don't really care - thongs and gstrings are what I wear. I feel better now that we got it right from the horses mouth :-)

My urologist has already seen my full shave job and didn't say a word. If I need to see him again, I thonging it :D

Seems like most of us are in agreement to wear what makes you comfortable, your normal day to day underwear, but what about sexy? A thong may not necessarily be sexy, sometimes it’s more about comfort and practicality.
What if you like to wear something that is more sexy, like satin and lace. Maybe that’s your day to day choice, I’m sure it is for some.
So the question is, where do you draw the line between what makes you comfortable versus what might make the doctor or nurse uncomfortable?
I’m not saying wear something crotchless or sheer that gives full view to your business, perhaps just something that pushes the envelope a little bit.

Yesterday, I went to the urgent care department at the local hospital, as I had severe pain in my knee.

The male Indian doctor asked me to drop my jeans as the leg couldn't pull up enough. I dropped my jeans to my ankles, exposing my light grey Calvin Klein Modern cotton stretch thong.
The Doctor was examining my knee from the front and back as I turned for him while he sat in his chair. He obviously saw I was wearing a thong , but never flinched or said anything.

After the examination, I was sent to get an Xray. The Female Radiologist and her assistant asked me to remove my jeans, once again revealing my thong underwear. The assistant did take a few quick glances while she was adjusting my position on the table etc, but sad nothing .(she was approx mid 20's) so maybe hadn't come across a male wearing skimpy underwear before perhaps.

A very positive experience , and proof that if you wear thong underwear on a daily basis, there is no need to be embarrassed etc when you might need to reveal it to medical professionals. I have never had a bad experience or negative comments or body language at Hospital or doctors and I have been wearing thongs since 1993 and tangas since 1988!

15 years ago I wore a thong to the doctors for a physical. They asked me to strip to my underwear and I had a JR Skinz Thong. They exam went as normal and he said nothing about my thong but complimented me I'm in good shape and asked where I worked out. Totally professional, the doctor said he's an avid cyclist but wanted to start lifting weights.

I always wear a thong to the doctor. I figure they've all seen it all before, so I'm comfortable with it.

I have a mix of bikinis and thongs, so I wear bikinis to my doctors visits.

I've worn nothing but thongs and g-strings for years, including to doctors, skin specialists, and all manner of health professionals, as well as for any massage, chiropractor, osteopath etc where you can't go nude.
It's my every day underwear, and I don't own anything else. I'm shaved all over (head to toe, except eyebrows) so they have all seen that too.
There has never been a bad comment made. Sometimes there is a sense of uneasiness or initial shock, but nothing gets said in those cases. The only comments that are ever made are positive. Otherwise there is no comment.
One masseuse asked me why I wore them, and I explained the comfort while driving long distances thing. We had quite a conversation. In the end she agreed with my summary of not being able to find anything else more comfortable. She said that she was the same and wore nothing else also.

Matter a fact I had a doctors appt today, chances of being seen in my underwear were pretty slim… still can’t bring myself to do it though. I don’t wear thongs full time, bikinis are my go to for doctors visits.

I had to have some testing done recently. The medical tech running the tests asked me to strip down for a couple of the tests. She didn’t say a thing about my thong but made a comment on my tan and how nice my legs looked. At the end of the testing procedures she walked me out to the lobby. The whole way out she was flirting with me, touching my arm, giving me big smiles.

Not yet but I don't see why not. I did wear a thong to a tattoo parlour but after all, I was getting a tattoo on my butt.
