People sneaking pictures...
Honestly, this is my pet peeve! I hate when people surreptitiously take photos or videos of me walking the beach in a thong. Be a big boy or big girl and work up the courage to ask me if you’d like to take a photo or video! I will probably say yes because obviously I’m comfortable in my skin. You aren’t even good at trying to keep it secret! LOL It is totally obvious to me.
Am I wrong? Or does wearing a thong in public mean being ok with pictures or videos because you are in a public space? Thoughts?

This is one my biggest hang ups on trying a thong at the beach, even in a relatively secluded locale. Everyone is now carrying a high definition camera in their pocket connected to the internet wherever they go. I think I've even had my picture taken once or twice just wearing a swim brief.806thongfan wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 4:17 pm Honestly, this is my pet peeve! I’m not a huge fan of people sneaking photos of me, but it happens. I have noticed my photo being taken many times. A few times I have asked if they would like a better picture. That is usually met with huge embarrassment by the picture taker. Recently I caught a woman snapping photos of me at the gym when I was dressed in leggings and a t-shirt. That was a first. She was trying to be very sly about it. Overall, having my picture taken at the beach is just something that I have mostly learned to let slide, even if I don’t really like it.

Yeah it's happened to me a few times when at the beach while I'm wearing a thong. It's definately obvious and sometimes I can tell before the pics are taken, because I notice the initial constant stare that's notably longer than a quick glance. Soon enough the phone comes out and is facing my direction.
Yeah it's definately annoying, though I don't really say anything. Occasionally I might walk close by the person holding the phone and just seeing the look on their faces is priceless coz they tend to freeze up momentarily as if they've been busted lol.

My wife and I try to avoid people altogether! We haven't gone thonging at the lake this year (yesterday would have been a good day but had other plans); though we usually walk a ways away from people for the peace and quiet.
If someone took pictures at our gym, they would be in major, major trouble. It might get their membership revokes or at least get a stern talking to.

I don’t mind if someone snaps a few photos of me while I’m wearing a thong at the beach—I just don’t want those pictures ending up online. Male thongers are not usually well accepted, and some online comments can be hurtful.

I think that it is really intrusive. What are people doing with the photos?

I think it is a normal reaction. People just wanna share things that are funny or unusual. It is okay as long as what they share stays within their circle.AndyJS wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 5:25 pm I think that it is really intrusive. What are people doing with the photos?

Me too, not overly worried. I once asked a guy to take my picture and he jumped at the chance, had me posing in all sorts of poses.
