as the summer comes, allow me to introduce my island...i found that video as i was searching for other greek islands. With my gf we are planning to spent some days away during the summer vacation... i think that we decided to visit Crete...
Anyway...in this video you will see the beach of pesada...if you can recall my story...there was the beach where we were me and my thonger friend Nikos in our thongs and there was a young couple next to us...you can see how tiny is that beach anyway.. and at some point the guy took off his shorts and revealed the swimthong he had underneath...
i have thonged in very beach of this video..either with my gf or the other two thonger friends...

Wow what an amazing place ! Has to be some of the most beautiful beaches out there. Love how clear the water is . Definitely a good spot to wear swim thong. After watching that I am so ready for summer!

Ioanniskef, you are very lucky to live near such beautiful beaches! I saw a few guys wearing swim briefs in the video but didn't spot any thongs. It's great that the Greeks don't mind men wearing thong swimwear out in the open.

i know that you live in usa swimmer78, so ican understand that its very big trip from your state, to europe, then athens and after to kefallonia..but i am sure that if you ever decide to do it, you and your family will enjoy the sun and the seas of any greek island you choose.
JR-TWO, i am pleased you felt ready for the summer through that video!! if you are european citizen its much more easy to visit the island.especially from france, england , germany and some other countries there are flights non stop to kefallonia...and you are right..the waters are either green-blue or different shades of blue and 100 % super clean..see through all the way to the bottom.
this video my friend swimmer78 itsnt the newest and of course it has some very short glances from the beaches..the me attire has a big variety according from the summer month. for example, july and august you can see many men wearing speedo style swimwear..becuase that period we had the main group from italian men..during september we had the main group from germany ,poland,sweden and spain..its the period when you can see a lot of nudity around , less swimbriefs and less boardshorts..from april to the end of june the popularity are over middle age tourist mainly form england so boardshorts are the norm..
especially the previous summer as i wrote elsewhere, i saw at least two men in thongs at the beach and one young men in thong underwear at the local airport.
i strongly believe that , since the popularity of thong underwear or briefs increasing especially in europe, i may see more men wearing thongs or speedo during this summer...
you are right greek people they just dont care.beach is the palce where you are absolutely free to wear or not wear a swimwear of any style...
during my research i found another video from another island..i will copy the link..you will be impressed of how many women were in thongs swimsuits. the video is from aegina,a small island where they go poeple between very low to low income in order to enjoy the sea.and its only from a few hours recording during only one day..

I had to watch that again, the beaches and water look amazing. Still early spring here in the Midwest U.S. Ice on the still on the lakes so no swimming and beach time for probably a couple months.
