Ah yes, the old double standard strikes again....... Man, I wish we could fix that.oldermuscledude wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 10:58 am I made the mistake if tucking my shirt in once while wearing those leggings, and got called aside by one of the managers at Planet Fitness who told me that a couple of folks at the gym had complained to him about my bulge (kinda funny, because I'm not 'that' endowed.) He wanted me to cover it up in the future. So I won't be tucking my shirt in anymore--usually I don't, and my shirts are long enough to cover most of my bulge. I had worn those same leggings many times before with no hassles, so it had to be the tucked-in shirt.
But I reminded him that women were in the gym wearing tight spandex shirts that showed breaat bulges and shouldn't that be a problem, too? He just laughed.
Women in leggings and sports bra top at the gym: no problem (heck, guys like that)
Guys in leggings and shirt tucked in: "sir, you need to cover up"....go figure...
We ought to be able to wear leggings the same way women wear 'em. If I want to show off my booty, so be it. Heck, most women wear short shirts and leggings, showing every curve......why is the bulge a problem for guys???

That's what I say: "If you're looking that hard at my booty, enjoy the show"bhmpositivity wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 1:37 am Yesterday, at the gym I'm sure I had VTL (I wasn't working legs but it would've been visible on the treadmill or if I sat on the bench and hit the battleropes), I just let it be and enjoyed my workout. If anyone saw, "Why are you look so hard at my ass?!", would be my thought.
But, for now this is my most recent gym wear (last week): https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/iroufvqj ... 0gpk8&dl=0
I hope you like.
The pics look good, man, I need to hit the gym more

Thank you so much for the compliment

The gym is not only great for your physical fitness but mental well-being as well. Yes, get in the gym and enjoy it!
Tell them, "If you're looking for VTL, you WILL find it!" lol

Re: VTL at the Gym
The double standard is way worse than the gym! We were away at a 4 star resort in Aus. Typical buffet breakfast, there was a young woman there in bralette and short lycra shorts that showed it all! She had a jacket she put on when up but it was all on show at breakfast. I am not against it happy for her to wear what she likes but, I would love to be free to wear lycra as freely as women are.gstringkini wrote: Sat Feb 08, 2025 3:23 pm

On that note, don't neglect the "girlie" booty exercises. THEY WORK!

Re: VTL at the Gym
A VTL seems accidental, whereas a bulge can be deemed deliberate. A VTL can be seen as an innocent mistake, whereas a bulge at the gym can be seen as a blatant display of manhood. That's why I think it is okay for a guy to show a bit of VTL at the gym.
