Yup! I just went to an Urgent Care yesterday for antibiotics and got a steroid shot with it, which I knew was probably going to be on my ass. Super convenient to just pull my shorts down to one side. Nurse didn't say anything (I wouldn't have cared if she did) and it was a bit exhilarating!

Recently had my regular medical exam for work. Booked with a male GP. I looked up his credentials and as well as providing private GP services he also runs private cosmetic surgery. Figured that he'd see all sorts of body types in his chosen field. Knew I'd be asked to strip down to my underwear so the physical examination. I've only worn thongs for a few years so I'm totally happy that's my style of choice but it still takes a bit of courage to show that to someone else. But I figured this doctor sees all sorts in his daily work so I just went with my normal Ergowear x4D thong choice. Doctor and I had a good chat about general health and then he asked that I remove my clothes down to my underwear. No hiding at that point. Just took everything off and stood in my thong to complete the examination. Didn't feel strange - just a part of seeing the doctor.

Might have felt a little less courageous if I'd booked with a female GP but I reckon that would also be fine for the next medical.

Welcome to the forum, doctor. Hope you enjoy the content and don't get inundated with medical queries from the other members :D

Oh damn, straight from the source. What’s the skimpiest pair you’ve seen a guy come in with?

I've been wearing thongs to the doctor for at least 3 years now! I think they've probably seen it all so I'm not concerned!

I went for an annual check up with my dermatologist this week. He’s a guy my age and I’ve seen him every year for the last 5 years or so. I have gradually gotten braver with my underwear choices, most recently wearing a pink silk Body Aware brief, but couldn’t quite muster the courage to wear a thong yet.
For me, it would be easier to rock a thong if my doctor was a woman. I feel woman might be less judgy than a man, but maybe I’m off base. He always has a nurse with him to assist and it feels a bit exciting to be seen by her, but it’s different with him.
I’ve gone for massages over the years to the same female massage therapist and have worn satin or lace thongs or tangas every time and don’t feel shy at all. I’m almost always covered in a sheet but when she massages my legs or lower back, she has to move the sheet up or down a bit, so I know she sees it, but she’s never said a thing and always asks me if I would like to rebook.
Maybe we need to switch doctor, haha!

I mean, I wear them everywhere else - so why start making exceptions in the waiting room? The first time, I half expected a raised eyebrow or some witty remark, but turns out, doctors have way more important things to focus on than my choice of minimal coverage.

Still, I wonder - has anyone here ever had a doctor actually comment on their thong?

I just went to the urologist. I wore my normal thong underwear (JM Skinz from Canada). I had to pull down my jeans and underwear for the exam. It was easy to see that I was wearing a thong as he did the exam. He was all business and I was totally comfortable knowing that he could see that I wore thong underwear.

I am bit concern on my grooming. I have a male version of landing strip for my pubes. I wonder what he thinks, when he does my physical and checks my scrotum, he has a front row seat. No comments at all. But he probably thinks I am nasty ... I have started asking him for a viagra prescriptions as well
