Pool boy - swim briefs
Pool boy - swim briefs
Cheap undies has the pool boy swim briefs on sale for $7.99. Great price for a decent swim brief. I have two of these, bought a year or two ago and wash them on cold and lay flat to dry and have held up nicely.

But if you're making the leap from board shorts or trunks to something briefer, these are an inexpensive way to start....and not so brief that you might feel awkward wearing them...

Good point, some of us guys that have been wearing smaller “speedos” for years forget it’s hard for guys coming from board shorts.oldermuscledude wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2025 2:44 pm But if you're making the leap from board shorts or trunks to something briefer, these are an inexpensive way to start....and not so brief that you might feel awkward wearing them...
I’ve described before how and where I wear my bathers, this year I’m almost always wearing my cocksox briefs to our closest family beach https://www.cocksox.com.au/collections/ ... 7617010743
At the next closest beach I generally wear cocksox thongs https://www.cocksox.com.au/collections/ ... 7617010743 and the third beach is nudist so, it’s either something very see through and risqué or nude.
That said I do have some “ordinary” bathers with wider sides that I occasionally use in mixed swimming pools when kids are around, like budgie smugglers https://budgysmuggler.com.au/products/mens-rubber-ducks or some Sluggers https://sluggers.com.au/collections/dee ... -paintball.
I also have some AussieBum bathers that are good for “normal family”wear https://www.aussiebum.com/mens/swimwear

Yeah, I'm in that boat, leaping from board shorts to briefs. I ordered a few, since $7.50 is pretty cheap for briefs. I have a 2" speedo now, so less coverage with theseoldermuscledude wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2025 2:44 pm But if you're making the leap from board shorts or trunks to something briefer, these are an inexpensive way to start....and not so brief that you might feel awkward wearing them...

I like the patterns, but just not the length of the sides. I like mine to be between 1" and 1.5". These look closer to 3"
