Thongs in hot climates?

Sat was very hot on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I was extremely happy to be wearing a thong while walking on the beach and then getting in the water to cool off. Every time I walked I was dripping in sweat. I thought, "How awesome is this I'm at the beach, wearing a thong in this hot weather."

Yes, thongs are the best for hot weather and even better if they are made of breathable
mesh lycra fabrics like this:

I must agree. My wife was a big part of my introduction to wearing thongs regularly but it was moving to Singapore which sealed the deal. The heat and tropical humidity made thongs the best choice for comfort

Yes indeed, Singapore is brutally hot and humid sometimes. The heat can even seep into apartments especially in the summer despite having air conditioning. So my girlfriend and I have been staying over at each others' apartments and I know she and I have more than two dozen pairs of thongs and G-strings as we need to take multiple baths and have to change clothes to not smell from all the sweating. Sometimes we'd just lounge around and do our own things like prepare food, play video games, do work-from-home duties all in our thongs. And early on in our relationship, we pointed out to each other that we both can get sweat stains everywhere easily and smell all over. Wearing thongs helped keep the cool, I wear it under my baggy shorts and she always tries to yank the back strap out so she can see it, much to my dismay. It's how we met each other and found out we're both thongers, after all. If its just me and her or just her older sister over, she's not against sitting on the bed or on the couch with her legs splayed out while wearing a short skirt or really short shorts due to the heat. We'd always see her favorite V-strings, a pink one with hearts and a purple-ribbed one with an orange slice.

You a lucky man having met your wife like that. Just pray she don't change and stop wearing them. That is what happened to me. One day just stopped and I asked her why not. She said not so comfortable. After all my persuasion, she said WTF if you like them so much, you wear them then, and from then on. I have been a thonger ever since. Not too many Asians are into thongs, maybe it just me and I don't get out as much to meet them.
I repeat you a lucky man, I love tropical asian countries, some day or day 1 ?!!!!

I am an American working and living in SE Asia (near Singapore) and all I wear are G-Strings and Thongs. It definitely gets "warm" in SE Asia; there is really no better choice in my opinion. Minimalistic and Sexy! I plan to visit Singapore in a week or so, btw. My girl also knows and supports my wearing of G's and T's. Its great!

Yeah crazy! It was because of her catching sight of my underwear that we became friends and eventually a couple. You wouldnt find that many Asian girls (for that matter) in a tabletop gaming setting, much less one that wears thongs, and yet there she is. She's a thick glasses wearing, 5 foot flat, chubby, Asian gir with a bob haircut. Guess you really cant judge a book by its cover. Even if she does wear thongs, I was more shocked she was open enough to tell me (or rather, maybe she is trying to empathize and level with me after teasing me that she's expose what I'm wearing underneath to the group). Now, if they did find out, I'd probably get teased about it, but I'm sure everyone would just laugh with me instead of at me.

Yes actually, even as a kid, minimal coverage was the name of the game if you're a chubby in SEA. I had this wrong notion that as people age, they'd go for boxers (and yes my peers did) but if it weren't for the social stigma, I wasn't about to let go of my bikini briefs which I've been wearing since I could walk (I'd have it in all colors for each day of the week with extra black ones). Changing in front of peers sucked since if I decided to wear a brighter color other than black, it's not just the cut that gets verbal jabs, its also the sweat stains from the oppressive humidity (less so the heat) in Singapore. So even when I transitioned to wearing just thongs, I really do like black.

I grew up in the Middle East, and most guys wore briefs. I started with briefs, and then later on, I found men's thongs when I was 16. The city I grew up in was quite cosmopolitan, so there were quite a few stores that carried men's thongs. Let me know if you have these stores/clothing brands in your country.

Yamamay- I believe it is an Italian underwear brand. I bought a shiny gold men's thong from Yamamay.
Bench/- This one is a clothing brand from the Philippines. I got a white men's thong from Bench.
Debenhams- A UK department store. Got a Thomas Nash sports thong from Debenhams.
Calvin Klein- CK used to carry the CK Steel and the CK Body thongs. Dunno if they are still available.
