Re: Your First Thong: When? What? Where?
My first thong? That was a few months ago. I was curious and decided to give it a try at home first. It felt strange at the beginning, but also kind of exciting. Later, I wore it under my jeans while going out, and honestly, it felt great! Now I can’t imagine not having a thong in my drawer. Life without it? Possible, but pointless!

I started wearing my wife's thongs 20 plus years ago without her knowing, just loved the feel of the fabric between my cheeks and the softer fabric. It took me until I was 45 this past spring to purchase my own, a basic Amazon brand woman's thong. Everything about it felt amazing (except how I fit into the front) so I purchased a lace pair and also satin pair that felt so good. I finally realized that I wanted to wear them more regularly, but needed a better fit in the front so purchased a Jockey sport thong to get my man thong collection started. Can't wait to buy more

That's such a fascinating story! I actually know a couple of people from my circle who had similar experiences. Do you prefer specific brands now that you're building your collection, or do you stick with options like Amazon?BuffaloChip wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2024 4:19 pm I started wearing my wife's thongs 20 plus years ago without her knowing, just loved the feel of the fabric between my cheeks and the softer fabric. I'm still in the exploring brands stage to see what fits and feels best so open thoughts and suggestions. Buying from Amazon is easy and thankfully a lot of the brands I see people mentioning are available therecheekyking wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2024 4:57 amThat's such a fascinating story! Cajunbull, I would like to welcome you to the Forum! As you settle in and read the posts, you will find us a friendly, diverse group of guys who enjoy microwear of various types. We are straight, gay and bi as well. Your concern about the "Gay Stigma" of men's microwear seems to be the case with lots of guys, BUT...Cajunbull wrote: Mon Nov 25, 2024 12:00 pm I bought my first thong at 20, I was tired of the riding up and bunching up of my boxer briefs and really wanted something with more support and a sexier look. After a few searches on Amazon I bought the ice silk breathable thong in black and grey. I’ve continued with buying the same kind in a few more colors and I’ve also added some jockey mesh thongs as well as many jockstraps. I would love to wear my thongs more and also buy more thongs I just don’t know how to get over the “gay” stigma of thongs.

Re: Your First Thong: When? What? Where?
My first thong was when I was 18 years old and had my first apartment. I believe I got it from JCPenney of all places!
It was a gawdy, shiny blue thong. I remember being so nervous as I walked to the counter. To my horror, there were three female employees standing behind the counter!
I of course kind of balled it up and awkwardly slid it into the counter foolishly thinking that would disguise what it was!
The lady picked it up and held it up for the other two to see and made some kind of comment about it. I can't remember what she said but I know I was mortified lol.
One night, probably 3 or 4 in the morning, I decided to sneak out to the apartment pool and take a dip in my new thong. I'll be damned if one of my neighbors didn't come walking through the courtyard and saw me. I was never sure if he could tell what I was wearing in the water but it was never mentioned.
That thong was so uncomfortable and ridiculous but I sure did enjoy it!

My first one was when I was 19 and moved to college. It was one of the summer code mesh ones off Amazon, super comfy and I should buy some more of them!
I'm 23 now and have a few different styles of Gregg Homme thongs/strings and recently bought some Calvin Klein modern cotton thongs which fit great.
I only wear them on weekends and after work on weekdays as I work a physical job with lots of bending and absolutely dread someone seeing one pop out of my jeans. I don't want to be labeled as gay or have people think I'm weird (nothing wrong with being gay! It's just not who I am!). Underwear shouldn't carry a stigma but unfortunately for a lot of people it does

I’ve always been in thongs no matter is it a boy or girl. My first ones was from some adult store when i was 17. After that i’ve been using thong almost daily. My wife does not like it. But she says that of course you can wear. And i do.

We need to ditch that stigma. If I was the great and powerful Oz, maybe I could do itMidwestThonger wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2024 9:13 am I only wear them on weekends and after work on weekdays as I work a physical job with lots of bending and absolutely dread someone seeing one pop out of my jeans. I worried about VTL or a whale tail. Then I just got over it (or maybe didn't care) and it was all downhill. Now I wear them every day. Of course, my thongs and gstrings ride at my hips. As long as my pants don't fall down, nobody could see a whale tail
