I have never had or worn a thong swimsuit.
Underwear however is a different matter, I bought my first when I was 16. In the late ‘80s they were fairly easy to find. Thongs now make up about 70% of my underwear collection.

Summer, male power posing G, with a few swim briefs thrown in cause I feels.
Winter, mostly CK brief however it do get cold, so sometimes I add thermal underwear.

I tried to normalize swim briefs, my wife became so vocal that my daughters actually joined her. So now I only wear them in public with her or by myself. I do wear them at home almost exclusively.

Cotton CK brief. The weather is crazy!

Saturday, yesterday and today, tangas or briefs. Nylon, spandex, lycra or basically any synthetic fiber. From around 70*F till 85*F. Then it’s on to something smaller. Oh yeah the stuff my wife really dislikes.

FTL cotton thong. Sadly discontinued yrs ago.

Speedo solar black. To hot for cotton briefs and to cold for MP posing.

I have probably 20 male power posing net gs. They call it posing I call it a g-string. It is see through net and just enough material to cover but the sides and back are 1/4” wide elastic. This is the only underwear I wear in the summer.
