Breathable Compression Shorts for Lifting in the Gym

Hi All,

Do folks have any recommendations for any lifting compression shorts for the gym? They need to be breathable for workouts, I prefer a higher rise, drawstring, and side pockets.

I use Lululemon Wondertrain tights for the gym for all workouts - super comfortable. They have women's ...

Re: Wearing a thong to the gym

Nice!!! That's awesome!!!

I wish I got positive comments; though, I think it is crickets (which is nice too). I do not think a woman (other than my wife) has ever made a comment about me wearing leggings to the gym (Lululemon Wundertrain). Though a good friend always used to kid me in a friendly way.

Re: Public Microwear vs Exhibitionism - Where's the line for you?

You are right - I think it depends on context and how you are doing it. Read the environment, and see what's appropriate for the context. And, would someone of the opposite sex also be seen as inappropriate by you if she were doing the same thing. (I know this is relative.)

If there are a bunch of ...

Re: Microminimus Meh

I have tracked their women's line and now the men's line.

It seems way overpriced. MicroGiGi (which is great quality) is far less expensive (though no men's line). There are also solid options on Etsy for less money (US and overseas).

I also discovered Malibu Strings recently, and they too, like ...

Re: Are bikinis, thongs and g-strings dying off with older generations?

I wonder if the market is "exploding" so to speak.

So, as a test, I just googled mens thongs on Amazon. If you judge by the number of reviews (and know that not everyone leaves reviews), then there are a ton being sold. On one product, it also said 100+ solder per month. That was just one model ...

Re: Wearing a thong to the gym

Yeah, I wish we could get over all of this as a society and just normalize things whether it is having a normal bulge, unintentional camel toe, butts, unintentional (or intentional) cleavage, nipple outlines, panty lines, no panty lines, thong lines, whale tail, you name it--in public when it is ...

Re: Thong on cruise

I have heard Virgin cruises are more laid back about this, and they even allow topless sunbathing on some deck(s).

Re: Wearing a thong to the gym

I wear thongs and g-strings to the gym under my leggings. No one has ever said anything; however, I haven't used a changing room in a. long while. When I was at a previous gym several years back, I always wore Ergowear "string" bikinis, and no one ever said anything. I probably had the most exotic ...

Re: G-string

I frequently wore Doreanse string thongs, and I would call them my "conservative" things. In the last two weeks, all I want to wear are G-strings, so I have been wearing N2N and Cocksox g-strings including to work and the gym. N2N is great high quality stuff.

Re: How did you overcome the social stigmas to be more confident?

Well there were a few things that helped me:

1) My wife has been super supportive of me wearing thongs and G’s—and she loves me to buy them for her. If I had married someone more closed minded, I don’t know how it would have lasted or how I could have been myself.

2) As time went on, I gained ...
