Re: TV shows that show men in bikinis/ leggings
I just finished watching the show Freaks and Geeks that was created by Jude Apatow and only lasted a single season. There's an episode where Nick, played by Jason Segel, has a sleepover at the main characters' house and they show him in the middle of the night, wearing only his underwear. He's ...

Re: Family Underwear
My dad mostly wore regular tighty whities when I was growing up. It wasn't until a few years ago that he started wearing colored briefs and bikini briefs

Re: Jockey
I've bought some of their Elance string bikini but I think the waistband is not the most comfortable. Isn't the whole idea that you don't want to wear as much fabric? Jockey's definition of what the men's string bikini is seems to be the kind with no material on the sides, essentially the same as ...

Re: Pet Peeve
When brands, especially Asian brands on sites like Ebay, throw as many terms as possible on a piece of clothing, it is purely so that the item will appear more often in people's searches. I agree, it is annoying especially when you are trying to search for a specific style, but I don't think it is ...

Re: Common misconceptions about men's bikini underwear
I think for a lot of people, when they think of bikini briefs for men, their mind immediately either goes to the skimpy posing trunk style that professional bodybuilders wear or the stereotypical (often animal print) kind that was more popular in the 70s and 80s.

Re: I think I converted a friends 12-year-old into wearing skimpies
That is great to hear. I wish that at that age I would have had an older male figure that was encouraging about trying out skimpy underwear. Definitely would have solved a lot of body image issues as an adolescent.

Re: Vintage string underware
I miss when brands like Hanes and Fruit of the Loom actually took chances and put out bikinis and skimpier underwear for men. Fruit of the Loom made string bikinis and thongs for men in the early to mid 2000s and then just never brought them back.

Re: Underwear Pet Peeve
Sizing has been an issue for me last few years too. When it comes to most clothes, I can fit fine into medium clothes, but underwear is a little trickier since I have a big butt and legs. I started buying large for some brands just out of convenience.

Re: Walking around home in underwear
My dad pretty much always did this when I was growing up. Although he never wore thongs, it was perfectly normal to see him walking around in his briefs after he got home or on weekends in the morning. I wasn't embarrassed in any way by it, if anything it showed how comfortable he was with his own ...

Fundoshi
Any guys out there ever try out wearing a fundoshi? It is a traditional Japanese loincloth used as underwear made from a single length of cloth, occasionally worn as swimwear, too. The most common color is usually white cotton or white linen, although many modern commercial styles come in different ...
