Years ago there was a shop in Phoenix called Parr of Arizona who marketed a tie side bikini they called the Nada (the Spanish word for "nothing"). Because it was a string a size Large guy cold order a size Small and expect it to fit perfectly, it just didn’t cover as much. The bikini consisted of a small pouch in front and an inverted triangle in back that covered very little (but not a thong). The fabric was a their proprietary version of stretch lycra called Fishskin. It was very thin and very clingy. So thin it was easy to tell if the wearer was "cut" or not. Pretty much the male version of a cameltoe. Before Parr went out of business I was able to buy about a half dozen in various colors which I wear to this day. I use these in situations where a Speedo would be perfectly appropriate: motel pools, crowded beaches, etc. The cut is very revealing and the ties over the hips are extremely sexy.

It’s such a shame when companies like that go out of business. The material you described is possibly my favourite, thin, stretchy and clingy. I think Greg Homme has some similar materials, but they’re very expensive.

You’re absolutely right, 8k. Over the years I’ve bought thongs and g-strings from one person operations, mostly based in Florida. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of Dore Gabriel but she was the best. You could call her up on the telephone and she would make anything you wanted and make it right – it would arrive in a week and she charged about half of want the “corporations” would charge. She was super conscientious. She used clingy, elasticized lycra that was very flexible and thin. She died a few years ago. At the beach guys woukd constantly ask where I got my g-string. It got so I would hand out her business cards at the beach,

There was another lady who made bikinis consisting of a tie side waist string with both front and back sliding so it was adjustable from bikini to thong/g-string in seconds. She used paper thin, non-elasticised lycra print fabrics that were stunning. She’s long gone as well. Both really gave the customers their money’s worth. Now all we have are businesses with stunning websites, little room for individualized orders and high prices.
