What kind of underwear did you wear as a kid?

I can remember in grade school in the 1970s when the boys were sent to the nurse’s office for a group physical exam, and we all laughed when we took off our clothes because EVERYONE wore tighty whities. Underoos color underwear became a thing in the late 1970s, and by high school we were wearing color briefs or even boxers.

Like most guys, my age, I started in tight whites. In junior high I started wearing jockey elance type bikinis, with a few string bikinis. I continued wearing these through high school. As a teenager, I got my first jockey thong but didn’t wear them regularly. By the time I got to college I wore thongs regularly.

I started wearing Jockey Elance bikinis and string bikinis around age 10(ish) and added thongs into the mix around 13.

I do remember jockeys and all. Those were my first string bikinis then thongs when I turned 17. Before 16 wore boxers most of the time. Bikini's and thong started when I got into high school as wanted to slip into something dry while wearing the hoodies. Miss those times.

Growing up in the late 80s and early 90s white fruit of the loom or Hanes were standard and pretty much the only choice. That is what I wore. Boxers, boxer briefs, trunks did not exist at least in my area . Colored briefs were not common. A few kids wore them here there but they were in the minority. I wore only white until my junior year until My sister and her boyfriend bought me a two pack of bikinis. One blue and one white. They felt amazing they were so comfortable. My senior year my mom bought me a 3 pack of Spalding low rise briefs. Light maroon, light blue and black. The spalding were more bikini than low rise. They felt amazing too. I've read on here where some parents didn't approve of more revealing bikinis or colored ones that stood out. My mom was cool. She wanted her boy to be comfortable.

I grew up with briefs, Hanes or Fruit of the Loom. Usually white but sometimes with cartoon prints. When I was 8 or so my mom bought me some boxers to see if I liked them but I didn’t. And when I was about 10 I got a pair of boxer briefs. They were OK but I liked briefs better.

So what did you guys grow up with?

Growing up in the 60s and 70s I was wearing white cotton briefs. At the age of 8 I read about guys wearing panties and it got me thinking about it alot. So I found a pair and tried them on and was hooked, they were just plain cotton panties but they fit better and they were so sexy
