Wearing a swim thong in public…

I've been wearing swim thongs at my apartment building's pool for the last couple summers.

For the most part, nobody seems to mind. Just caught one of my neighbors taking a picture once. There are always women out there in thongs, and I usually try to pick a spot next to one of them.

I've loved reading this thread and all the positive stories. I feel like it's easy to have this negative and potentially embarrassing experience in one's head but really sounds like the majority of people of had anything but (or butt, ha, sorry made myself chuckle).

I'm planning a trip to Canary Islands with my wife and so I'm determined to go through with wearing a thong at the resort hotel (adults only). I've ask her what she thought about me wearing my Joe Snyder thong (rather plain and black) at the pool. She said, "You may get some people staring". I said, "I don't stare at people in thongs. Would it embarress you?". "No!" she said, "Go for it, if you want!". She's been wearing smaller stringier bikini bottoms on holidays over the last couple of years and said "We could even swap half way through the day, see if anyone notices!! haha". She's a keeper.

If all else fails then off the beach but then probably won't need to wear anything.

We're going up to the Sunshine Coast next week for four days of sun! Can't wait after a very loooong cold Melbourne winter.
I'll definitely be packing my swim thongs for some much needed vitamin D recharge.
I'll mostly be packing my Cocksox swim thongs but I'll have a few bikini bathers spare just in case.
We'll also try and find a suitable nude beach if its warm enough.

I'm new to thonging at the beach, in public, it's only been a few months. At first I had no plan on wearing a thong. I wore them under my shorts but one day I just summoned up the courage and dropped shorts. I only stayed in my camp area and would walk to the water to swim when no one was near. Eventually I started to go for walks. Being around fellow thongers helped too. Plus some of the ladies in my area will go topless along with rocking a thong. I was very hesitant to walk by people who weren't wearing thongs. But I told myself I need to break my hangups and just act normal.

I got more and more comfortable walking down the beach. I still get a little leary when I walk by people not wearing thongs but I just keep my head up high, if they acknowledge me I say Hi and give a wave. Most of the time people see me walking towards them from the front so my modest thong looks like a Speedo. However, I have turned around and saw people looking back at me. But I have no problem walking in front of people. They are going to see what they see. Most people don't acknowledge the thong at all and/or look at me.

Now I don't go out of my way to show my ass, but I don't try to cover it up either. It's part of wearing this style swimsuit. When I feel like wading in the water at knee depth or I'm picking up trash on the beach when I walk, I have no problem showing my backside. In the past I would dip below my waist to cover up while in the water, now I just act like I'm the only one out there. Part of the thrill is showing off what you're wearing, but again I don't try to make all obvious either. It's part of the thrill of this lifestyle.

I have had many people see me and wave and say hi back. I have received positive comments and no negative. If/When I get a negative comment I'll remain calm and respond kindly, every situation is different. But like another member on this forum, David_NC he stated most people go to the beach to have a good time, relax, and aren't there to stir anything up. I'm there for the thrill of being a thong, walking, swimming, meeting nice folks, especially the ladies, and enjoying this thong lifestyle. I'm truly living a life long goal and glad I broke the barrier.

Not sure which one of the Canaries you are heading for I would recommend Fuerteventura as a great location for starting beach thonging , We normally stay at the Kn Matas Blancas hotel in Costa Calma. It’s an adults only hotel a thong’s around the pool are no problem, the indoor spa has a nice pool , sauna and steam room which you must wear swimwear in, we both used g strings in the spa again without issue. The beaches in Fuerteventura are very nice and can be used with full one piece suits to naked , on the beach from Costa Calma to Jandia you see men and women wearing intimate jewellery, transparent G strings anything is possible!

This summer I was in Vegas with the GF and for the first time in her life, she wore a thong to the pool. Since she did it, I did too.

Being a more… European clientele… hotel, no one seemed to make a deal of it. She was hardly the only female, but I was certainly the only male, wearing one. It was fun to go into the pool and represent Clan Thong.

I just got home from the beach today. While I was there I had set up in the middle of the beach about 200 meters from the waters edge. I had my ear buds in listening to music lying on my side with my back to the sun and water and reading a book. When I turned over I had a woman set up right in front of me near the water. She was on her stomach facing me. She has an excellent view of my thong and buns. I never saw or heard her set up. This time of year there are very few people on the beach. There may have been a total of six other people on the entirety of the sand. So I guess she liked what she saw and wanted a good view. It was just a little surprising to see her so close when there was so much open space.

I might install one of those adult-sized inflatable pools in the backyard at home. There is an area where it could easily be covered from neighbor's views. I will definitely wear speedos and the occasional thong. I just want to cool down and wear what I want.
