Delabole, I feel the same way, but in my case, the only thing left is a trimmed beard! I check myself out after taking my morning shower. I've never been hairy to begin with. I may only have to smooth off some "mature peach fuzz" on my pecs and abs, or carefully :!: trim the shaft and balls. Arms and legs every so often. My buns seem to remain nice and smooth on their own! :D Then I smooth on some cocoa-butter lotion when all done. (I really like how bodyshaving makes those LOW, teeny tanlines stand out! ) So my suggestion is to just touch up here and there as needed.

How often you should shave below the belt will depend on the speed of the regrowth. Some guys who prefer the smooth look and feel will do it every day, but that might not be practical for everyone. I would suggest that 2 or 3 times a week should be sufficient and should help you avoid that annoying itch when you leave it too long.

I’ve finally bitten the bullet and opted for full on laser hair removal.
Just had my second treatment and couldn’t be happier with the results, the lady said I probably won’t need the full 6-8 treatments as I’m not very hairy and I have a slow regrowth.
Brilliant to be hairfree.

I have some OCD so I often shave my face, arms, and even the hair on my chest and back and, yes, trim down there. This time I'm letting my face hair grow a bit but shaving most of my body and I'm planning to go for a shaved bald look for the first time.

Jason, that sounds like my situation. I'm 71, and my hair started coming out in college. I finally decided to have it all cut off over 20 years ago, and haven't looked back. (NO guard on the stylist's trimmer.) I started growing a beard in 1980, have it to this day, and keep it trimmed short and even. I started bodyshaving in 2018 (and I mean everything, even my underarm area), and LOVE it. I think you'll like what you say you are interested in trying. Good luck!

I think I will just trim my armpit hair a bit, but not shave it off.

I can't grow much body hair so I rather shave it all off. I feel cleaner. I can't wait to shave off my head hair and go for a smooth look.

Jason: two suggestions once you shave off your head hair. First, be sure to apply sunscreen on the top of your head as well as the rest of your face after your daily shower. Do so year-round, and use a sports cream with an SPF of 50. (Especially important for daily outdoor activities, whether or not you are wearing a hat, because the hat may have to come off for some reason.) Second, save yourself some money  and switch to a store-brand baby shampoo when it's time to purchase some. Works fine for your new "fuzz," and "cha-ching", too (!) :D

Noted.

I shaved off my head hair this past weekend and I'm enjoying the look and feel. I have been getting many compliments on the new look. And, yes, I have been applying sunscreen lotion on my shiny dome.

I'm currently shaving my chest, back, arms, pits, pubes, balls and shaft...a few years ago I was shaving legs and ass and crack as well, along with my head--virtually the only hair on my body was my beard and my eyebrows! I love the all-over smooth look...love the way it feels when I'm swimming, love the clean look, love the fact that I feel cleaner all over, and really love how it feels when someone runs their hands over my body! It's a definite "to-do" for me! I echo what others have said about putting sunscreen on your head if you're going to shave it, too--vitally important! When I first shaved all over my wife hated it--she said that it "wasn't natural" but now she loves it and hates it when I go too long between shaves! :D Since I wear thongs mostly and bikini swimsuits (haven't yet gotten up the nerve to wear a thong on the beach) it's vital to shave "down there", especially since I wear a lot of Joe Snyder bikinis and thongs!

I have kept my pubic area trimmed for years - sometimes going 100% bald down there. My wife also enjoys when we are both 100% bare down there. I had surgery in 2021 and was shaved from chin to toe, it became itchy and I didn't love the whole body hairless on me. I like the dusting of hair on my legs and chest - I do use a guard on the razor to keep the oddly long hairs that sprout from my chest trimmed and also like to keep my arm pit hair trimmed. Honestly, I can't imagine not keeping your pubic area at the very least trimmed, seems like normal self care maintenance. I have thought about using Nair for men on my balls to get them extra smooth but haven’t done so yet.
