How often you should shave below the belt will depend on the speed of the regrowth. Some guys who prefer the smooth look and feel will do it every day, but that might not be practical for everyone. I would suggest that 2 or 3 times a week should be sufficient and should help you avoid that annoying itch when you leave it too long.Delabole wrote: Thu Jun 08, 2023 6:44 am I totally agree - I hate all body hair, except on my head. The only question is how often should I shave below the belt?
Jason, that sounds like my situation. I'm 71, and my hair started coming out in college. I finally decided to have it all cut off over 20 years ago, and haven't looked back. (NO guard on the stylist's trimmer.) I started growing a beard in 1980, have it to this day, and keep it trimmed short and even. I started bodyshaving in 2018 (and I mean everything, even my underarm area), and LOVE it.jason_greets wrote: Fri Jul 28, 2023 3:07 pm I have some OCD so I often shave my face, arms, and even the hair on my chest and back and, yes, trim down there. This time I'm letting my face hair grow a bit but shaving most of my body and I'm planning to go for a shaved bald look for the first time.
I think I will just trim my armpit hair a bit, but not shave it off.Microbikiniman wrote: Fri Jul 28, 2023 9:02 pmJason, that sounds like my situation. First, be sure to apply sunscreen on the top of your head as well as the rest of your face after your daily shower. Do so year-round, and use a sports cream with an SPF of 50. (Especially important for daily outdoor activities, whether or not you are wearing a hat, because the hat may have to come off for some reason.) Second, save yourself some moneyand switch to a store-brand baby shampoo when it's time to purchase some. Works fine for your new "fuzz," and "cha-ching", too (!)
