Ever thought "why didn't it before"?

After introducing your first thong did you ever asked yourself why you didn't do that step earlier?
I was a young thong under wear wearer but I was extremely disappointed that I thought about the absence of reasons for wearing other beach suits. I moved to thong at 24. I asked myself why not at 18 (or maybe more earlier).
The answer is I think: before crossing the line we create too many problems that doesn't exist.
What about your experience? About under clothes and beach

I started wearing thong underwear in high school, around 16, and looking back, I do wish that I had been able to when I first discovered my fascination with thongs. They just feel so good in my opinion, and make me feel confident about myself, and that's something I definitely could have used in my early years
As far as thong swimwear goes, I didn't start wearing those until I was in my '30s, and I absolutely regret not wearing them earlier.

I was well aware of "sexy" underwear in high school because a female friend always said wearing the sexiest underwear is the key to building confidence. You never want to be caught pants down with boring underwear when possible. I didn't make the leap to thongs until college in the early 90's and even then it was the optional choice since male thongs were very hard to find. After graduating college, finding thongs became an obsession. It still is very much almost a daily search to find new styles from basic to extreme. I think I've owned several hundred over the past three decades. Now my search expands to outdoor pools to wear them while swimming. I used to enjoy laying on the beach and just tan but now I prefer to be active, cool and comfortable while getting sun. Minimal tan lines for sure, perhaps visit a nude beach in the future.

Visiting a nude beach is definitely something I want to do very soon. I would definitely wear one of my see-through thongs similar to this one:

I tried my first thong at 19, it wasn't great - it took a few a to find there are better ones. Thongs weren't easy to find in brick & mortar stores in the late 90s, and I didn't feel comfortable asking my parents for one. So I don't feel I missed out by not trying them sooner - I'm glad I persisted and found some online shopping. My biggest regret is stop wearing them when the boxer brief craze took over the market. I have only worn a thong outside, by the pool one time when I knew NO ONE would be around. I don't have the confidence to wear one in a more public setting.

I started wearing thong underwear as soon as I moved away to college and have never looked back. It too a bit longer for me to begin wearing thong swimwear. I grew up in a beach town, so being at the beach was a daily experience. From about age 16 I began to find smaller and smaller bikini style suits for the beach, I would roll the back to expose as much cheek as I could. Then I discovered Skinzwear Rio style suits and pull them between the cheeks when I was lying down. As soon as I would be standing or walking I pulled the suit to its full shape. Fast forward about two/three years and began getting the confidence and courage to wear a thong at the beach. I still was mostly hiding my thong wearing back then. I hid until I got a huge boost of confidence from a group of women that really went over the top about how great my thong was and how good I looked in it. Looking back now I wish I had started wearing a thong to the beach as soon as I entered college if not sooner (although sooner would have been difficult given my parents attitude). Today all my swimwear are thongs.

Everyone has regrets in life. In my case, I started wearing thongs when I was eleven, and I was 24 when I thonged at the beach for the first time.
My regret is that I couldn't openly thong during my early 20s. I was out of shape (6'1", 280lbs), and I thought I was too big and chubby to be out in a thong. My weight also caused skin issues like frequent rashes around my buttocks and groin, which left me with discoloration and scars. Throughout my 20s, I wore body make-up and a concealer to hide the scars and discoloration.
I am 34 now, and I am at 220lbs (100kg). My ideal weight is 200lbs (90kg), but I want to shed the remaining pounds while building muscle. Since I have lost 20kg-30kg, I have stretch marks here and there, and my butt is saggy.
If I had been in shape in my 20s, I would have felt more confident about my thong wearing in public. Anyway, I still feel young, and people do say that I look 27-28. Hope to reach my fitness goals while I am still young.

I wore CK string bikinis in college and then followed the boxer crowd at the suggestion of my then GF. All my wife of 25 years had seen me in until 1.5yr ago was boxers and bixer briefs. I had been secretly wanting to try thongs for many years but had resevations our daughters would see me or worries about my wife’s reaction. We became empty nesters so I finally decided what do I have to lose and took the plunge. It clicked immediately and that was exactly my thought…why did I wait so long.

I bought my first thong about 25 years ago, it was a moderate cut thong from Dore. I was 40 years old then. It took some time to gain enough courage to wear thongs at the beach. I like thongs as swimwear very much and indeed I asked myself often ‘why didn’t you start much younger’. I’m planning not to give up thonging despite not being the youngest. I will wear thongs as long I’m having fun wearing thongs.

I bought my first pair 5 years ago from Skull & Bones. They were a regular pair of thongs. Army green with no designs on it. I knew I would never wear regular underwear again. I was 45 then and wish I would had found thongs along time ago.
