Do you guys actually buy women's thongs in person? All the brands mentioned here are well known, and there's a good chance you might run into someone you know while you're shopping. Also, what do you do if a sales associate comes to you and asks if you need help? Do you say you're shopping for yourself?

I buy womens thongs in person, too. I usually get mine from department stores, so I get a bunch of other stuff at the same time so the thongs/gstrings are mixed in with all the other stuff .... My 1st few times, I went early and used self checkout. Now, I guess I don't care as much.

I have a bunch of VS, but I got it all online - if it doesn't fit right, I just send it back. Sometimes, I go into a VS store and look around, but I haven't worked up the courage to buy anything yet . I guess I could tell myself the sales clerk assumes I shopping for my wife..... Having an actual wishlist on the phone is a great idea.

It’s so strange to me that they can be returned. Doesn’t that also mean I rein the risk of purchasing returned items that have also been worn already?

Yeah, no idea what happens to the returns. Never gotten any that *look* "used" - bags all still sealed. That doesn't mean anything, tho....

My wife ordered some of these to try out and as I was folding laundry I stumbled on a pair of them....Holy hell they were the softest material and I couldn't stop rubbing them. I've never worn the opposite sex underwear before mainly because of the Female to Male sizing conversion guessing game and the lack of front pouch. At only $8 I figured what the hell and ordered a XL. They are soooooo comfy. Just not sure my wife will be onboard. Don't get me wrong, she loves all of my thongs/jocks/tangas/bikinis and such but this might be a whole different level.

The other day, I was at a mall and saw that La Vie en Rose was having a two-for-one sale. I wanted to go into the store to check out some thongs, but I chickened out. If I do buy women's thongs in person, I will probably have to go to a store far from where I live.

So today, I went into that same La Vie en Rose store where I was the only male customer. There was a section for panties, and I looked through their thongs and g-strings. I picked out a few XL thongs, but I felt that the material was too thin. Also, they were $11.95 a pair, which I thought was pricey. They had a 10 for $30 promotion, but I was too embarrassed to go to the cashier with that many thongs.

I have a question for those who buy women's thongs in person. How long do you spend shopping for them, and how many do you typically buy?

Usually I’m shopping for about 20 mins. I know what I want and what I’m trying to avoid so I don’t typically need much more time that that. I’m mostly there to assess material and fit. That doesn’t include time standing in line to purchase. Given that, I don’t always walk out with something. But when I do, it’s not usually more than two items at a time.

I think things made for men work better for me. So any time I shop on the women’s side, it’s mostly for very specific styles or cuts only found from women’s line, like very stringy or sparkly. Or if I’m trying to find something seamless.

Some designs come with sizes for plus sized women and these fit me well, very comfortable, I begged her to get me plain ones, no girlish designs. Besides the Amazon ones, custom made ones and Teamm8 gstrings, these has got to be my favorite ones. I mean, obviously at first the thought of wearing women's thongs, you know, literally panties a CRAZY thought, but wearing them everyday? No problem and we match, I'm plus sized XXL she wears XL. She got herself some very vibrant designs and got me plain ones (probably got it on some big sale since she bought some for her sister who also wears XXL, I get the plain the sister gets all the printed or design ones). Really pays to have a female thonger girlfriend, and I think she's on a similar thong enthusiast forum like this.

I went to Victoria's Secret the other day for a few reasons - the thrill, to buy something for my better half and because I love their new big logo waistband lingerie. I ended up buying a shine strap Brazilian for myself (as I can turn them around if I need more coverage in the front) and this:

which is stretchy enough in large to fit me pretty well but the thong back is also comfortable. I highly recommend as although it says cotton, it is actually mainly microfibre, which I prefer in lingerie and underwear. I will definitely get the thong in white and have one in small hidden for my gf's birthday next month.

I thought I was the only one who did this. A lot of the cheeky or brazillian cut panties fit great if you wear them backwards.
