Hello all, I recently went on vacation to Emerald Isle NC and wanted to share a few thoughts. Only a handful of guys were wearing below the knee board shorts, everyone else wore swim trunks above the knee (didn't matter if they were buff or overweight) - I was one of those, I did wear my Speedo under my shorts one day, but couldn't find the courage to drop the shorts. There was one family that stood out to me; the dad (pretty fit) wore above the knee trunks, the older son (early teens) wore swim jammers almost to his knees and the younger son (maybe 8-9) wore square cut briefs - I found it interesting that the sons showed off more than the dad. The mom was in a respectful 2-piece bikini, nothing too flashy. I just wanted to share my recent experience. Have a great day.
