I started 'scaping below about 5 years ago, but just a touch up to keep things under control. Then I had surgery and was required to be fully shaved, but instead I had my wife do a home waxing. I liked the result, so we did it again, but had lots of in-grown issues, so I started shaving with a Body Groom every day, and that's worked out ok. So yeah, hairless below, and it works for me, skimpy suits and all.

Hello outside_time - welcome! I'm glad I'm not the 'new boy' here any more - I've been here at least a week longer than you!

You're braver than me - I've never tried the waxing option. I understand it ends up being very smooth for weeks, and I have thought about it... but I've never plucked up the courage.

I only tried it a couple 3 times, just didn't work well for me. I had too much hair breakage, so the result was good but really not better than a good shave. Then the ingrowns started, and just keeping up with a shave a day, sometimes two, works much better.

The other thing is the waxing process is somewhat less than comfortable, and not repeatable for many weeks. The hair has to be long enough for the wax to grab. So the pay-off would have to be really good, which for me, it wasn't. I did not experiment with all the different types of wax. My wife has her waxing done professionally, and found that there are some that are much more comfortable than others.

Overall, waxing is a lot of trouble, and the results don't "stay" long enough for me. The daily shave is consistent, plus I shave things I would really rather not have hot wax on.

I once emailed a guy who makes porn with his wife and asked what he does. He said a shave every few days for him, his wave had laser hair removal. Now that's permanent!

I have been shaving my ass for ten years. It was very hairy and my wife mentioned it to me (many months later, obviously) it was "very hairy" after the first day I slept with her in our honeymoon suite. I had worn a silk thong and she was wearing granny panties. Since then I shave my ass with a razor and soap by going down on my hands and knees in the shower (water pointed away) opening the crack and razoring each side until it feels like a baby butt; I do the cheeks at the same time. I also do the area between my anus and balls. Then I stand up and do my balls and cxxk and leave a small thin landing strip that goes straight up towards my belly button.

The BEST thing about shaving the ass is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO smell when intimacy begins! No feces streaks on the underwear EVER. I shave every other day and it is just a normal part of showering. I urge everyone to do it - if you don't that's your choice though.

Once you feel your ass is just like a baby butt, your hooked.

UPDATE - I bought an in-home IPL laser and have been zapping the roots after a shave. No real results yet though.
